Monique Corral Research Assistant, UCLA
Monique Corral is a research assistant for the Institute for Immigration, Globalization, and Education, and doctoral student in the Human Development and Psychology program at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interests include resilience among students who return to school in the Adult Education context, and the educational development of students. In addition to her research, Monique currently teaches at an adult school and has worked closely with first generation college students as a college and career advisor in both the community college and state university context. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Northridge and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
